Restaurant & Cancellation policies
・We open booking slots prior to 30 days at 12pm for lunch and 5pm and 7:30pm for dinner. For example, a 5pm slot on 15th Feb is available from 5pm on 15th Jan.
・We only take a regular reservation through Open Table except for a situation that there is a last-minute cancellation.
・For a private party, please contact us by e-mail, and we will arrange it. However, please understand that the ideal party size is 8 people. Although we can arrange a private party with 8+ people, the style and seats are likely to change compared to a party with 8 people. Additionally, please contact us more than one month in advance regarding a private booking as we open booking slots 30 days in advance.
・We are afraid that we don't have any special arrangement for any anniversary.
・If you have any concern or uncertainty about reservation, please contact us by e-mail.
・Due to the nature and length of our course, Matsukawa is not suitable for children under 16 years of age. We do not have facilities for babies and enough space for buggies on the premises during dinner time.
However, we are happy to accommodate them during lunch time!
・If you have any food allergy, disliked food, or dietary restrictions, please let us know two days prior to your reservation date. Without this, we cannot guarantee to arrange a course based on your preference.
・We are afraid that we are authentic sushi restaurant; therefore, we don't have a vegetarian or vegan course.
・Our restaurant style is to start all course at the same time in one time slot. Thus, if you are delayed more than 15 minutes, we are subject to cancel your reservation and charge full price. Please make sure to contact us before your reservation time if you will be late.
・Due to the limited space and preparation for fresh ingredients, we will charge €40 per person for lunch and €100 per person for dinner if a reservation is cancelled or you would like to change the date/time or the number of people within 48hours of the reservation date.
For example, if you have a reservation from 5pm on the 5th of April and cancel it at 6pm on the 3rd of April, we will charge full price.
